Volunteer Appreciation Day

A good crowd turned out on April 24, 2010 for Volunteer Appreciation Day.

Volunteers spend time chatting at the Memory Lane MuseumOn April 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. the Weeping Water Valley Historical Society hosted a coffee and tea to help celebrate the volunteers that has helped out the museum over the past year.  Volunteers slowly made their way to the Memory Lane Museum to enjoy the moring with others.  While being served treats, Doris Duff let those who showed up know about the upcoming events the museum is having.  She also let them know about the new web site.  One of the items the museum is looking at is the use of volunteers from the Green Thumb program.  The Museum hopes to use that program to help man the complex during the summer days.  By using the program the regular volunteers could hopefully man the Heritage House complex for its Sunday time slots throughout the summer.   If you are interested in being a volunteer please contact us.
